CORE Construction
RESIDENCE INN AT ST. CHARLES
The Residence Inn at St. Charles Avenue project, currently being built for Robert Guidry Investments,
includes the new construction of a 19-story, 191,105 square foot hotel located on the historic St.
Charles Avenue in New Orleans, LA. The facility will house 238 rooms with balconies, a restaurant,
and a bar. The hotel will be constructed on a foundation of partial displacement piles, grade beams,
slab-on-grade, and a post-tensioned concrete structural frame. An exterior consisting of a precast
SlenderWall and curtainwall system and a roof comprised of modified bitumen and concrete pavers
will complete the construction. The project will also feature porte-cochere access to the existing
seven-story structured parking garage adjacent to the hotel, meeting rooms, and interior accents of
marble tile and walnut. Due to CORE’s construction efforts during pre-construction, the Residence
Inn at St. Charles Avenue project is estimated to be completed on schedule in June 2019.
