• Operation

• The fluid to be heated is diverted by means of baffles placed in the
distribution chambers to enter only a fraction of the tubes then pass back
and forth through the heater (multi-pass).

• The longitudinal baffles in the shell do not multiplicate the pass (single

pass) of the steam but allow it to flow perpendicular to the tubes.
