Routine inspection guide -
What we look out for at inspections
We will advertise your property for rent using the
following property marketing portals:
Inside the property
• Walls, light switches, doorways, and doors
are clean from marks.
• The floors are clean and stain free.
• The windows, window tracks, and screens
are clean.
• The kitchen area clean and oven/ stove top
is free of burnt on food and carbon staining.
• Shower, bathroom, toilet, laundry, and all
tiling are clean.
• All areas and rooms are fully accessible
(not locked or access hindered).
Outside the property
• The lawns are freshly cut/ edged and
maintained.
• Gardens tidy and presentable with weeds
removed.
• Rubbish and lawn clippings removed.
• No unregistered cars, car bodies or old
tyres on the property.
• Oil Stains removed from carports, garages,
and driveways.
• All areas, garages, storerooms, etc are
accessible.
• Swimming pool (and/or spa) water and
surfaces are clean.
If you have an approved pet
• Any droppings are picked up and removed.
• Any pet damage is repaired or rubbish
scattered is cleaned up.
• Ensure all/ any dogs are properly restrained
for the inspection or removed from the
property for the day.
