• Retweet – you can ‘retweet’ posts on Twitter by clicking the retweet button that displays at the bottom of all posted Tweets. Retweeting a post will mean that it appears in your timeline and all of your followers will be able to see it too. Often referred to as ‘RT’; users often include RT in their tweets to encourage others to repost them.
• Smartphone – a smartphone is more advanced than a normal mobile phone. Smartphones can be used to download and use apps.
• Timeline – on Twitter and Instagram, your homepage is made up of the posts of people that you follow, usually in chronological order.
• Tweet – a post on Twitter that is limited to 280 characters. It can include website links and photos. Note: website links and photos do not count within the character limit.
• User – if you have a social networking account, you are a ‘user’ of that site.
• YouTube – a video hosting website that users can upload video files to and watch other users’.
