Page 2 - storytelling in practice
P. 2
Foreword
CIPRD is very much a conduit; consolidating news and events; signposting
good practice; and linking people to people. We recognise that there is a
range of intergenerational projects, education, research, and development
across many sectors in England. As part of our launch, we wanted to focus
on examples of existing intergenerational work – hence our invitation to
members to submit short stories of your work.
To start our collaborative journey, we invited members to share a short IG Centre for Intergenerational
story that has made a difference to their community (up to 150 words) Practice, Research &
and accompany this with any associated images and organisational logo (if Development,
appropriate). We have started to gather these examples together in the England
form of a flip book, which we are launching today, and which will be
accessible on our website. We can add to these stories as CIPRD develops
over time, capturing and sharing the lived experiences of our members
and their excellent work, as it unfolds.
Thank you for joining CIPRD, England and helping to shape it into a
dynamic hub of intergenerational practice, research, and innovation.
