P. 15

We are subconsciously driven to fill our needs

and get those ‘Feel Good Chemicals’

This means that for some children, when their needs aren’t

met, they don’t feel ‘prickly’. In fact, they look like they’re

      having a great time!

                                  Instead, they are subconsciously driven

to fill their needs and release those ‘feel good’

                                  chemicals.

That’s why children often don’t know why they do what they

do. They’re not conscious of this drive …. yet!

Our job is to help them become consciously aware.
