The report also fails to recognise that recent developments at Yew Tree Close and Spinney Hills all
complied with the AWNP (of two parking spaces per dwelling) which is n either excessive nor
unviable. Further, the Motion Consultants approach fails to take account of the predicted growth
in car ownership between now and the end of plan period in 2031. It is quite probable that five
years down the line that 108 spaces will not be enough: especially if the WH:LIC scheme is goes
ahead and people start using their bedrooms.

Parking in Ashurst Wood is already scandalously deficient, yet Mr King reaction to the under
provision in the current application is that it would not be desirable for car parking to be
        displaced onto the A22

It all makes me wonder what planet MSDC planners live on and how far they will go to nod this
        application through.

        Yours aye

        Michael Comer

PS I have just read your email to Lytle Assocs---- showing the Sec 106 contributions }66,000
for TAD. It appears that you have already made up your mind to accept the WSCC parking
        standards of 57 spaces. Amazing!
