Development	of	the	EDF	Site,	Lewes	Road,	East	Grinstead
               Dear	Mr	King

I	wrote	to	you	on	25th	June	regarding	an	apparent	anomaly	in	the	size	of	the	buffer	zone.	A
copy	of	my	le?er	is	a?ached.

In	my	le?er	I	suggested	that	the	Design	Review	Panel	should	review	this	anomaly,	and	that
Mr	Page	should	be	asked	to	explain	how	this	could	have	happened.	As	there	is	no
correspondence	from	either	party	on	the	web	portal	I	can	only	assume	they	are	not	aware
of	the	concerns	raised	in	my	le?er,	which	I	very	much	doubt,	or	that	they	have	chosen	to
ignore	them	which	is	more	likely.

There	are	numerous	instances	on	the	web	portal expressing	the	importance	of	maintaining
a	15	metre	buffer	zone	between	the	proposed	development	and	the	ancient	woodland.	It	is
important,	therefore,	that	MSDC takes	whatever	acTon	is	necessary	to	ensure	this	happens.
In	case	Messers	Dorman	and	Page	have	trouble	idenTfying	the	anomaly	amidst	the	dark
green	colours	on	the	latest	plan	I	am	a?aching	another,	clearer	plan	of	the	buffer	zone,
taken	from	the	web	portal,	which	clearly	shows	that	it	encroaches	into	part	of	the	proposed
               development.

Could	you	please	ask	the	following:

To	Mr	Dorman	-	what	acTon	are	you	and	the	Design	Review	Panel	going	to	take	to	ensure	to
               Mr	Page	recTfies	the	anomaly.

To	Mr	Page	-	please	explain	how	an	apparent	slip	of	your	pencil	redrew	the	inner	line	of	the
               buffer	zone.

Could	you	also	ensure,	for	transparency,	that	any	correspondence	received	from	Messers
Dorman	and	Page	relaTng	to	this	ma?er	is	placed	on	the	web	portal.

I	look	forward	to	hearing	from	you.

               Yours	sincerely
               John	Finney
