Shabbat Chanukah Celebration in Venice
Temple Emanu-El “Menorah Lighting on the Green”
Did you know that Temple Emanu-El has a giant handcrafted outdoor tiki
torch menorah? It’s amazing, and you are warmly invited to gather outside
on the Temple Emanu-El green (151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota) as we kin- Lynn Cleary, Music Director
dle it together. We’ll also celebrate this seventh night of Chanukah with
old and new friends, songs, treats, activities, festivity – and plenty of light!
This friendly and welcoming intergenerational event is free and begins at

Be a Friend of the Band! The Manatee Community Concert Band invites you to
Havdalah & Chanukah Café help support its musical endeavors. The Band is a nonprofit corporation, accorded
Temple Sinai Erev Shabbat Service 501(c)(3) status by the Internal Revenue Service; donations are welcome and fully
tax-deductible.
Make the seventh night of Chanukah special by joining Chabad of Sara- For info: (941) 363-1237

A latke cooking competition for teens in grades 7-12 will be held at 7:00
p.m. at Chabad of Sarasota (7700 Beneva Road). Following Havdalah, a
menorah lighting and delightful refreshments, the fun will begin – excit-
ing, messy and delicious too! Prizes will be awarded for the most deli-
cious, most creative and most organized. This event is open to all teens free
