MDHA—Nashville General/Meharry Medical Group
Incentive Plan
MDHA and Nashville General Hospital/Meharry Medical Group have
entered into an incentive plan agreement allowing MDHA employees
and dependents access to high quality healthcare without incurring out-
of-pocket expenses if you seek medical care from Nashville General

or Meharry Medical Group. Labs , nutritional counseling, physical and

occupational therapies, or radiology services from Nashville General
Hospital are also included in the program.
X Your Cigna explanation of beneits will show the amount of the
allowed charges you are responsible to pay; this is the amount
Nashville General Hospital/Meharry Medical Group will not collect
unless it is referencing a third-party vendor as noted below

X If you receive all services from a Nashville General Hospital/
Meharry Medical Group provider, you will have no out-of-pocket
expenses 1,2
X For more information about the Nashville General Hospital

1 Medical care may require orders from your primary care physician as well as pre-authorization
from your insurance company. All ancillary services must be performed at NGH to qualify for
the incentive program—even if seen at one of the Meharry Medical Group clinics.
2 Non-routine blood work may also result in copays from third-party vendors such as MDL and
LabCorp.
