Birthday Day Off
As a BH Management employee, you are allowed a bonus day off on your Observed Holidays
birthday to celebrate each year. Refer to policy for full plan details. X Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
X Memorial Day
BH Gives Back X Independence Day
BH Management will provide full-time employees with eight hours of X Labor Day
paid community service volunteer time each year. Part-time employees
will receive four hours of volunteer time to use each year. X Veteran’s Day
Holidays X Thanksgiving Day
Day After Thanksgiving

BH Management observes certain holidays throughout the year. Full-time X Christmas Eve
employees who are not on leave of absence are entitled to eight hours of
holiday pay for their regular hours. Part-time employees who are normally X Christmas Day
scheduled to work on an observed holiday will be entitled to pay only for X New Year’s Eve
the number of hours they would have normally worked on that day.
X New Year’s Day
Refer to approved annually prepared Holiday Schedule for observed dates
and ofice closings. Annual holiday calendars are published in the policy
manual and on the Payroll SharePoint page.
Certain holidays may require the property to remain open and run a small
team for the hours designated by management in order to meet business
needs. If an employee works on a BH scheduled holiday noted to the
right, he or she will be given an alternate day to take as the holiday within
the same work week the holiday falls, plus a $100 performance bonus.
Maintenance team members scheduled for on-call on a BH recognized
holiday as outlined in the annual holiday calendar are eligible for the
$100 bonus for that day. This applies even if no on-call services were
performed on that day.
