Life Insurance
Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
Ainsworth Pet Nutrition provides, at no cost to you, basic life and
accidental death and dismemberment insurance. In the event of
your death, our life insurance policy helps provide a general safety
net for your beneiciaries. Your coverage is equal to 1.5 times your
W2 earnings, with a maximum beneit of $250,000. If your death
is the result of an accident or if an accident leaves you with certain
debilitating injuries, you’ll be covered under our accidental death
and dismemberment insurance for the same amount. We hope this
company paid policy helps you feel more secure and prepared to
manage your inancial goals and obligations.
If you die while covered by this plan, the beneit is paid to the
beneiciary (or beneiciaries) you designate. This basic life insurance
coverage is paid in full by Ainsworth Pet Nutrition and is fully
insured by Unum. You will have an opportunity to designate your life
insurance beneiciary as you go online to elect your beneits.
Voluntary Life Insurance
We recognize you and your family have speciic needs and our
company paid life insurance coverage may not be enough to ensure
your inancial security if your income were suddenly lost. We offer
voluntary life insurance with competitive group rates so you can
purchase and secure the inancial protection you need. Voluntary
term life is available through Unum.
