Dubai Municipality Announces Dhs 112 Million Creek

Dubai Municipality has launched a Dhs 112 million project to rebuild and upgrade the supporting walls along the

Deira side of Dubai Creek. This initiative aims to improve the effectiveness of the creek's retaining walls,
reconstruct damaged sections, and prevent potential flooding during harsh weather, thereby reducing disruptions

to commercial traffic.

The project will be carried out in two phases. The first phase focuses on restoring a 2.1km stretch along the Deira

side, which will be divided into segments to ensure uninterrupted docking traffic. The second phase will cover a
2.3km length on the Bur Dubai side.
