The bustling High Street

To be honest, I was quite surprised how busy the High Street was. Even though
the weather was poor, the paths were full of people and each café I passed
looked to have tables occupied.
As someone who often visits Southwold, it's easy to draw parallels between the
two towns, especially when comparing the high streets. But given this was my
first visit to Aldeburgh, I'd have to spend more time in the town to elaborate on
that face-value assumption. Halfway down the High Street, the heavens opened
and I got absolutely soaked. Serves me right for venturing outside without an
umbrella in April , I guess.
