One of the best parts about this whole build was that it was one of those father/son
bonding moments. Richard’s son Ryan was always into hot rods, but the two had never
really dug into a project together, and Ryan had never welded before. When Richard
told Ryan about the project, Ryan asked, “Do I get to weld?” Richards response? “By the
time we’re done you’re going to be good at it.”
Big thanks from Richard to both his son Ryan Lyons and Richard’s girlfriend, Melissa
Parker for both their inspiration and perspiration throughout the project.
