Four-door? But it’s a two-door, right? Well...
Richard started off with a four-door and the
knowledge that the two and four-door versions of
tri-fi ve Chevys share things like roofs and wheelbase
lengths. So, after swapping doors and using 1955
Chevy two-door quarter panels, He wound up with
this two-door post car that most people would
assume started out life that way. Inspired by Jeff
Lutz’s insane ‘57 Bel Air Pro Mod car, Richard has a
rat rod that almost everybody instantly recognizes
by its iconic profi le. “I saw all the Model A’s, Model T’s,
and trucks that people were building and I wanted to
build something different – something your grandma
would recognize,” says Richard.
