teelfest is really hard to describe. To say that
it is a car show would make you think that it’s
a couple rows of cars and some judges and
Smaybe a DJ playing Mustang Sally for the 10th
time that day.
Steelfest is the people, the atmosphere, the cars
and the environment. It’s the smell of race fuel mixed
with tire smoke with a hint of bar b que. My step dad
said it best when he told me that he had no idea that it
was going to be like that. (he especially liked the fl ame
thrower cars)
The photos here before you this time are yet
again from the great Kyle Cross (facebook.com/
kylecrossphotograhy) as well as photos taken by my
son Klaus Metzger. Last year I decided that giving
a 6 year old a point and shoot could be fun and he
surprised me with what he took. So I did it again and
he got details that are overlooked in some cases.
I really hope to see you all out at this show next
year and thank you for your continued support.
