build, we must keep
the motor and trans at
$500.00. This is not as
Ihard as it seems. The
older motors and tran’s in
the 70’s, 80’s and mid 90’s
will be in this range if you
work at it.

I often see 350 Chevy motors and
a few Fords on occasion for $500.00.
a few Fords on occasion for $500.00.
The same is true on craigslist for 350
Chevy tranny’s at around $150.00. I
keep on until I get someone to talk
down to $400.00 on the motor
and $100.00 on the tranny. I also
look for wrecked or disabled older
cars and trucks that I can buy for
