OF ALL TIME
WHERE TO FIND IT: ISSUE #31
OWNER: MATT PETROVIC

This Chrysler 440-powered ’30 Model A is one
of our all-time-favorites for a myriad of reasons, but
most importantly because it embodies the spirit of
the American rat rod as a whole. One guy building an
inspired machine in his garage piece by piece over the
course of three years - in the hours AFTER working his
tail off at his regular job. An AWESOME blue-collar build
that is full of nostalgia not only in the car itself,
but in how it was built.
WHERE TO FIND IT: COVER,
ISSUE #29
OWNER: KEVIN SMITH
PHOTOGRAPHY: COREY RINGO
As the original feature reads, Kevin Smith built this 30 Ford fi ve-
window to be a representation of what a college kid in 1957 might
have driven. The former owner actually did drive this car while
attending college in New Mexico, until it was eventually stored and
forgotten. As fate would have it, this is one of those true barn-fi nd
stories and Kevin was able to purchase and rebuild the car into what it
is today, taking inspiration from its original use.
How cool is that?
