back seat and bulkhead. One
of the requirements from my
nephew, Kenny on this build
was a back seat for his young
daughter.

If you’ve ever built one of these rods
and especially one that has 30 inches
cut out of the middle of it, you know
that’s a tall order. We did manage to eek
out 10 ⁄2” across the back by L framing

the rear section instead of Z framing it.
Not a ton of leg room but for a smaller
type human, it works. You wouldn’t
want to ride it for 10 hours but for a kid
