“Baron” is a 1932 Ford Victoria
body that has been channeled
over a full custom frame. The top
didn’t get chopped on this car
but the interior did get stripped
of all its non-essential parts like,
headliner, rear and passenger seats,
as well as removing the door panels.
The only parts that were left as
they came are the stock dash and
steering wheel and the only creature
comfort is a racing seat that has been
“welded” to the fl oor. The fenders
have been removed to help give it a
more streamlined look and the head
light buckets are old Ford hubcaps
found lying around. Paint was made to
look like it had been setting for years
next to a barn, forgotten and unwanted,
with only the occasional raccoon for
company. I wanted you to imagine
what life was like for this car, before the
transformation. How many Saturdays were
spent driving the family to get ice cream
after their chores were done?
Chassis and undercarriage are
pretty much your standard Z’d custom
frame, allowing the car to scrape the
pavement and giving it just the right
stance. It has been stretched, but just
enough to accommodate the new engine.
Transferring the power from that engine
