is a beefed up rear end with a basic leaf
spring set up and keeping with tradition,
the front suspension is the stock axle with
standard leaf springs. Pie crust slicks are
out back wrapped around a pair of vintage
Torque Thrust wheels while up front I have
light weight drag wheels inside a set of
Firestone white walls.
I wanted to do something different
when it came to the engine so I picked a
late model BMW straight six coupled to
a stock BMW transmission. The exhaust
has been changed over to six straight
pipes, made to resemble the exhaust of
an old airplane; fuel injection has been
changed over to six small carbs for
the same reason. The radiator shell is
stock with a modern electric fan for
dependability.
While to the untrained eye this car
might just look like a bunch of parts
thrown together, to me, it looks like it
could have a story and a history but
more importantly, a soul.
