Buying Time …

I
went home on a dreadful day I received the lawsuit to discover

that Leroy had moved out of our bedroom. Thank God, it at least
gave me space. I had just stopped speaking to him after the trip to

Virginia Beach. I knew he was still drinking and communicating with
Ms. Moore.

When I got home I experienced a breakdown; I could not stop
crying. I cried for six hours straight, until Leroy got ready to go to

work. I could not continue, not having peace at work or home. I had
to give in to one; otherwise, I surely would have had a complete

nervous breakdown. I had to be the face at work; I would not give the

bimbos the satisfaction of seeing me broken. I made a point to go to
their floor to speak every morning, with a happy damn smile.

As Leroy started getting ready for work, I called him into my
bedroom and told him about the lawsuit and I just broke. I told him I

could not take his drinking and I knew about Ms. Moore. I started
screaming at him because he lied to Adriana, the queen Thornburg's
