That’s Crazy
she had to say something when Tonya came to her today, upset and
the Formal Complaint filed. It was truly pitiful. Tonya had also
brought up an incident that only Tyrone, Jerome and I knew about
when a woman had tried to come-on to Tyrone in the elevator. I was
convinced then of Jerome's hand in the scheme. I knew Jerome had
to tell her about that incident because only the three of us knew about
it.
There were holes throughout her story. First, the police
department is located less than a block away. If Tyrone did what she
claimed, why did she not go to the police department immediately
after he supposedly grabbed her "crouch", which is assault? Second, I
do not know of any woman that would willingly ride with a man that
was pressing her as hard as she claimed Tyrone was, even if she was
resisting his advances. Third, it seems funny that she had worked for
the past four months without any inkling of distress. Fourth, and most
importantly, she had the wrong date of the lunch. Anybody knows
Tyrone knows that he is meticulous about keeping records and
receipts. I had a copy of the credit card bill showing the actual charges
and verifying the date of the actual luncheon. It was not the date she
was claiming the incident occurred. Finally, it made no sense at all that
she was claiming to have been dropped off at her car at 8:00 pm,
following a luncheon. CRAZY.
Little did Melissa know that I would use her rationale of not
telling me in March as the loophole through which she would be fired.
