The Complaint

I
t seemed strange that this lawsuit was filed when Melissa and

Tonya were on the way out the door facing unemployment based
on the written complaints received by the client. By filing the

complaint, Melissa and Tonya were protecting themselves from being
fired. The attorneys told me if I fired them, they would have received

more money by calling it retaliation. Ain’t that a blimp? The real trip
was that lying crazy Tonya wanted $2 million.

Tonya’s notarized complaint read as follows:

I am female and the single mother of two children ages 5 and 8.
I have been employed by the company as a Task Manager since
October 2002.
My indirect supervisor is Tyrone Smith. He is male. His title is VP,
and he is one of the three people who owns/manages the business. The
other two people who own/manage the business are Jerome Hall and
Giselle Thornburg.
Mr. Smith began flirting with me in the fall. His flirting began
innocently with comments to me such as, “you look like Janet Jackson,”
and “you look good today.”
