Greetings, SCCTM Family!


           Welcome to our State’s capital city, Columbia, SC for our 2024 SCCTM Annual Conference!  We
           are excited about the changes we’ve made to the conference, this year, and the professional
           learning opportunities that we have prepared for you. We invite you to “Stop, Collaborate, &
           Listen” as we “Think Mathematically Together” during our amazing sessions, workshops, keynote
           speakers, and exhibitors.

           You’ll have an opportunity to network with many other South Carolina math educators and
           discover creative ideas that are working in classrooms around the state. As always, you will find a
           wide variety of sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities that offer ideas, resources,
           tools, and materials to use with your students and share with colleagues.
           This year, we are excited to announce our six-year conference plan!

           We are thoroughly excited about our 2024 keynote speakers. The biographies of each keynote
           speaker can be found on our website at scctm.org and in the conference program book.

           Thursday, 8:30 - 10:00 AM, Ballroom ABC: Dr. India White, TEDx speaker, national educational
           consultant, author of 45+ books, and co-author for Savvas Learning Company

           Friday, 2:00 - 3:30 PM, Ballroom ABC: Dr. Juli K. Dixon, Professor of Mathematics Education at
           the University of Central Florida and an author of HMH’s Into Math, GO Math, AGA, Math180, and
           Waggle.

           Each keynote presentation will focus on how we can develop the reflective tools and practices of
           stopping, collaborating, and listening to engage one another and think mathematically together
           with the goal of creating joy and excitement around the work we do as math educators and
           leaders.

           On behalf of the SCCTM Executive Board, I welcome each of you to the 2024 Annual Conference
           and extend a sincere thank you to each of our keynote speakers, session and workshop
           presenters, and exhibitors!
