One of my new favorite ac�vi�es that involves using graphs, tables, factoring, the quadra�c formula, as well
as having students THINK! Students will need to reason analy�cally about absolute value equa�ons and
quadra�c equa�ons in ways that they have not been asked to do before. Mul�ple solu�on paths. This will be
a fun one! Grades 6 - 12

Through the Palmeto Math Project, all South Carolina schools have access to Zearn, a K-8 math learning
pla�orm. In this session, you’ll explore examples of Zearn’s 1,000+ digital math lessons and see how Zearn
provides real-�me, adap�ve support to help students work through challenges while maintaining rigor and
