Walk to End Childhood Cancer!
It was too hot to wear boots, but that didn’t stop the Houston Chapter of Top Teens of America from walking in the St.
Jude’s Walk/Run to end childhood cancer. Teens got up early on Saturday, May 19th, to participate in the event held at
Westbury High School. This nationwide project initiated by TLOD National President Lady Drema Lee Woldman was a joint
event for the Ladies and Teens of the Southwest Cluster Chapters. Houston Chapter Teens joined fellow teens from other
chapters to “pound the pavement” to raise funds to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital’s mission of saving the
lives of children fighting cancer and other diseases and to ensure that their families don’t have to worry about paying for
treatment, travel or housing.
