for the Area II TTA President and 9 teens from chapters that were highly engaged in the workshop. Teen Nailah Tukpah was
selected from our Chapter. We learned about the St. Jude program and some insightful information that our national
TLOD/TTA has raised about $45,000 for the year and some of their funds go to support of sickle cell anemia patients.

The teens participated in a field trip to Dupont Environmental Educational Center a very unique and natural place where the

city, river, and marsh meet. We walked around, bonded with other chapters and took lots of pictures. The teens had a lot of

fun together. At the TTA Blue and Silver Luncheon, Teen Paige (Lady Inez) was awarded as the first place winners for Me

and My Mentor Award. Teen Paige read her speech and Lady Inez was escorted on the red carpet. At the Ruth Payne Smith

Speakers Tournament, Teen Nailah Tukpah presented a speech on What is Good?, which has a personal touch on everyday

stress that related to other Top Teens and Top Ladies daily lives. Teen Eliana Tamrat participated in the National Spelling Bee

Contest and did a wonderful job. Our teens did an awesome job at the Area’s Got Talent: Teen Hiwot sang a song while Teen
