~Prairie View Chapter~
The Prairie View Chapter Top Teens participated in several activities for the 2017-2018 year. Teen Shakalia Simmons attended the
Southwest Cluster March of Dimes Healthy Choices Conference in Houston, Texas on February 17th, 2018. In addition to the
Healthy Choices conference, Teen Shakalia helped with the registration at the March of Dimes Walk at the University of Houston
Campus in Houston, Texas on Sunday, May 6th, 2018.
The Prairie View Chapter Teens also donated backpacks in accordance with the service project for the Area I conference that was
held in San Antonio. Pictures were taken with the recipient of the backpack drive.
Saturday, May 19th, 2018, the Prairie View Chapter Top Teens and Top Ladies participated in the St Jude Walk at Westbury High
School. At the close of the year, the Prairie View Chapter Top Teens
and Top Ladies will attend church together at Mount
Corinth Baptist Church in Hempstead Texas. After
church, they will have a picnic at the Prairie View Park in
Prairie View, Texas.
