Mr. & Mrs. Top Teen, Teen Paige and Teen Colin presented themselves very well and did an awesome job with the dance.
Our graduates were honored and certificates were presented to Teens Jianna, Iyona, Paige, Amirah and Colin.
The Area II Conference proved to be an exciting event for both the TTA advisors and teens. Four of the newly inductees
were able to attend. They were excited to attend the TTA Plenary sessions where they were able to observe TTA National
Officers conduct TTA meetings. They were also able to learn the responsibilities and roles of the officers, as well as the
importance of the National Program, MOMENTUM and each of the mantras. Most importantly, the new and current teens
were able to bond and build a rapport. In addition, Lady Natalie and Lady Ebony were able to attend both sessions of the
TTA Institute. We were able to receive first hand knowledge from our National TTA Director, Janice Simmons, regarding the
TTA Program and how to facilitate involvement from both teens and parents to strengthen our program. In addition, we
were able to network with other TTA Advisors and receive advice regarding membership activities, mentoring efforts, and
community projects. Lady Janice lead informative sessions regarding TTA program objectives and we left with excellent
knowledge to use towards the upcoming program year.

In closing, the conference was eventful and powerful. The teens had a wonderful time, came back enthusiastic and excited
to be a part of our Chapter. The advisors gained a better understanding of what is needed to evoke participation and
excitement from teens and parents. In addition, we will be planning events that are centered towards networking with other
TTA Chapters and looking forward to an exciting new program year working with our teens.
