Teen Niaya James

~A Top Teen Trailblazer~

Queens NY, the Empire State Chapter‘s “Teen Niaya James” will be graduating this June with many honors. Teen
Niaya is graduating with 24 college credits, excepted to 8 awesome Colleges received a few scholarships, a notable
one is in Literacy for a poem she wrote and entered in a contest and won. A second and important awesome
scholarship Teen Niaya will be receiving is the “NOBLE” scholarship. This is especially news worthy because
NOBLE is one of our partners as well as a stand-alone organization with a program: The Law & Your Community,
which is a nationally recognized hands-on interactive training program for young people ages 13-18 designed to
improve their communications with law enforcement officers and their understanding of their federal, state and local
laws. Teen Niaya was the top scholarship earner and recognized at a very elaborate recognition banquet. And if that
is not enough Teen Niaya has received a full ride to Howard University…. She is not done yet!
