Angela Avent’s Walk with
Accomplishments
Angela Avent received her membership
certificate with the Hampton Roads
Chapter of Top Teens of America Teen Angela Avent
sponsored by Top Ladies of
Distinction, Inc. in November 2005.
At the age of 15 and in the 10th
grade at Tallwood High School in
Virginia Beach, Angela was
focused on her goals of
representing our chapter and
following her dreams of
becoming an attorney.
Through hard work and
determination, Angela attended
regular meetings and activities
with the teens of the chapter.
Angela represented the Hampton
Roads Chapter of Top Teens of
America at the National Leadership
Conference in St. Louis, Missouri during
the summer of 2006 which enhanced her
leadership skills in the organization.
She was elected President of the chapter
and led with passion in the many activities
the teens
participated in. During her junior year in high school, Angela volunteered
in the office of Attorneys Bullock and Bullock with the energy needed to
learn more about where her dreams would take her.
After graduation from Tallwood High School, Angela Avent, Esq.
attended Norfolk State University and received an undergraduate degree
in Political Science. Later, in 2014, Angela attended Charlotte School of
Law after being awarded the Merit Scholarship. Angela graduated from
law school a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Board and with Pro
Bono Highest Honors on May 13, 2017. Shortly afterwards, Angela sat for
the Texas Bar Exam in July 2017. She was among those who found out on
November 1, 2017, that she had passed the bar exam on her first attempt.
After preparing for and passing the Multistate Professional Responsibility
Exam, Angela was granted license and membership to the Texas State bar on April 27, 2018.
