RATIONALE






                       Presumably,  TABIKA/TASKA  KEMAS  teachers  have  attained  a  certain


               level of classroom competence in English, however, there may be instances of

               inaccuracies or even unwillingness to use English for classroom management


               purposes. The handbook is created to assist them in this aspect with help from


               the assigned trainers. It is hoped that these guidelines will encourage teachers

               to make more use of English and help them to operate the classroom and


               manage the activities better.


                       By  working  systematically  through  their  input,  these  teachers  will


               therefore acquire a wide range of accurate and authentic phrases that will be


               of value throughout their teaching careers.
