Tipologies sketches: uses in summer and winter
This workshop raises the problem of the densification of the city of
Santiago through the study of the town of Farellones, located in the
Andes, to position it as a growth platform for the city of Santiago beyond
the temporality of its use as a winter recreation area and skycenter.
There are 3 situations to be studied:
* The residential infrastructure in vertical density.
* The plan of public spaces capable of satisfying the demand of its
inhabitants.
* The equipment of buildings for public use necessary to allow the
habitability of the place.
The explorations will focus on the temporary project of Farellones: a- in
winter and in summer; b- during day and night; c- during the week and on
the weekend; d- views towards the mountain range and views towards
the city of Santiago.
