                         Lomang  is  one  of  the  typical  foods

                  originating  from  Kuantan  Singingi,  Riau.  In  other
                  areas,  Lomang  is  also  known  as  Lemang.  This

                  traditional dish  is  usually  made from  white sticky

                  rice as the main ingredient. Lemang or Lomang is
                  usually more delicious eaten while still warm, and

                  eaten with red sticky rice tape. In Kuantan Singingi,
                  Lomang is usually served at Eid Mubarak.  Lomang

                  is a unique dish because it is cooked using bamboo
                  that‘s burned until cooked.
