HOW TO MAKE LOMANG




                  Ingredients   :

                      ●  1kg of white sticky rice
                      ●  5 old coconuts
                      ●  3 teaspoons of salt
                      ●  3L of water
                      ●  10 pieces of banana leaves
                      ●  Some pieces of bamboo
                      ●  3 pandanus leaves, cut into smaller pieces

                  Steps         :


                      1.  In a large bowl, soak white sticky rice in cold water for at least 1 hour. After that, drain and
                         set it aside.
                      2.  To make coconut milk, squeeze the coconuts with 3L of water. Then pour the milk into a
                         large bowl and add 3 teaspoons of salt while constantly stirring it.
                      3.  Cut the banana leaves. Then coat the inside of the bamboos with them.
                      4.  Put 4 tablespoons of sticky rice and coconut milk into the bamboos. Drop some pieces of
                         pandanus leaves to each bamboo.
                      5.  Prepare the fireplace and arrange the bamboos neatly on top of it. Let them cook for at least
                         5 hours.
                      6.  Cool and remove the bamboos after lifting them. Then the Lomang is ready to be served.
