Afterword
In a statement issued by Michael Jackson in December of
1993, just a few months after the child molestation allegations,
he said, "...Throughout my life I have only tried to help thou-
sands upon thousands of children to live happy lives. It brings
tears to my eyes when I see any child who suffers. If I am guilty
of anything, it is of believing what God said about children:
'Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them
not: for of such is the Kingdom of God.' [Mark 10:14] In no
way do I think that I am God, but I do try to be God-like in my
heart."
As mentioned in the beginning, the Bible says that you,
"judge a tree by the fruit that it bears." Michael Jackson's words,
his deeds, his actions and his lifestyle all validate who he re-
ally is behind the scenes. No matter how hard the media and
tabloids try to portray him as something other than who he
really is, Michael Jackson's past and present actions speak for
themselves.
There are millions of Christians who live a chaste life with-
out drugs or alcohol. Who in turn give back to society, with
gratefulness and thanksgiving, in return for what God has
given them, eternal life. There are not many individuals with
millions to give, like Michael Jackson, but collectively Chris-
tians help feed the poor all over the world. They, too, are on a
mission from God-being commissioned to give to others like
God gave Jesus, His very own Son, for our salvation.
Michael Jackson's mission here on earth extends beyond
being the greatest entertainer of all times, greater than feeding
the poor. It is obvious from his actions and deeds that his mis-
