Michael Jackson's fans claim to know him through his
music. They understand the heart of Michael Jackson by the
lyrics of his songs. They know when he is hurting, disgusted,
in pain and they hear his messages of anger at the media in
songs like, Leave Me Alone. They heard his heart's cry for world
peace and racial justice in songs like, Black or White, and em-
braced his antidote for changing the world by starting with
The Man In The Mirror.
The allegation of child molestation by one boy whose fa-
ther was hungry for money, not justice, was not enough to
change the hearts of millions of Michael Jackson fans around
the world. Michael Jackson's expression of love shown to chil-
dren throughout the years has multiplied through the love of
his fans.
The boy's father predicted that he would "destroy Michael
Jackson... He won't sell another record..." and, "They will be
destroyed forever," proved to be totally untrue. Dr. Chandler,
in all his threats, could not break the bonds of love. When all
the smoke clears and the dust settles, love always prevails over
evil, and biblically speaking, "love will never fail."
