Chelsea?
I moved into my loft around 20 years ago. Me and my cats. This neighborhood inspired me ever since - it has just all this energy and all these people - artists, vis- itors, business guys, tech guys - it’s fasci- nating. I also had some gallery spaces not far from here with Stella Michaels and we are negotiating currently for a new space to exhibit our work. It’s the center of the New York art world and the place
to be. You have all the big names in this neighborhood - it’s beautiful. But it also became very commercial and expensive - some artists are moving to other plac- es or try to stick around for as long as it works. It’s not easy. Live is difficult, but we get up and do it anyway.
