3. Common Gender
Nouns that indicate both males and females are said to be in the common
gender.
Read the following sentences :
(a) My neighbour is not well.

(d) Which singer will sing this song?
4. Neuter Gender
Nouns that indicate non-living things, neither male nor female are said to be in
the neuter gender.
Read the following sentences :
(a) You must observe silence in the school .
(b) They built their hut on a hill .
(c) Tea is the main crop of Assam.
(d) Do not lend the things I’ve given you to anyone.
