Sign of Inverted Commas ( “ ” )
The inverted commas are used to mark off the actual words used by the speaker.

Examples : (a) The father said, Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Sign of Apostrophe ( ’ )
An apostrophe is a punctuation mark used in contractions to replace missing
letters. The contraction “we’ll” stands for “we will”.
Examples : (a) I m so hungry that I could eat a fruit.
