The bear hunt reports and subsequent documents were produced as a
result of a privately funded project by the Author.
The Fire Fighters Charity does not currently endorse this publication.

The information provided here is factual and is simply reported as it was
experienced by the Author who served 21 years as a firefighter and who
raised funds for the charity throughout his career and more recently
during 2018 whilst cycling in their 75 th anniversary campaign. By
December he’d raised £1,788.66 from his nearly 1,500 miles of cycling
whilst travelling with their small mascot bear that was his Cycling Buddy –
Ember a small fire bear. They climbed higher than Everest + The 3 Peaks.

Any funds raised through the sale of this book in digital or in a paperback

format when published as a fuller and a separate story and any donations
or sponsorships given and received will be treated as funds raised for
charity and transferred directly with a statement made on the relevant
pages and or FB group(s). There is no material intended for the Author.
