bible says that it is not what a man takes in that defiles him, rather what comes

out of his heart. Speak politely to them and keep quiet if you don’t have a nice
thing to say.
It is amazing to know that it is the good treasure that you place in your heart that
brings forth good seeds and these are manifested in your relationships with your
in-laws.

3. DEMONSTRATE WISDOM
Wisdom is reflected in our words or way of life. She successfully handles whatever

situations she finds herself. Don't see your in-laws as your enemies, irrespective
of their attitude towards you. A dear pastor once said that she was married into a
home where her mother in-law detested her because she earned more than her
husband. But, instead she kept praying for a change and showered her with gifts
at every festive period. At last, her mother in-law confessed that even those other
women she loved never bought anything for her. Today they are best of friends.
That is wisdom.

If you want to be successful in your marriage and win your spouse heart, learn to
maintain a good and healthy relationship with your in-laws. Take your in-laws the
same way you take your own parents. Don't discriminate; you are married into
this family for a purpose. Remember, your husband is not the only one marrying
you. Create a peaceful atmosphere so that at any point in time your name is
mentioned, your in-laws will be happy to have you as their wife.
