Aluminium geometry for the high-performance users in the series production
The ISO N geometry has been specifically geared to the needs of demanding series users for processing non-ferrous metals. These indexable
inserts are precision-ground and have extremely sharp cutting edges. The highest cutting stability can be guaranteed even in the most difficult
cutting conditions. Cemented carbides with high hardness are used for long periods in series production. Chip breaker geometries guarantee
optimum chip breaking. Conformal coatings increase the service life with only slight impairment to ease of cutting.
         Extremely sharply ground blades
Extremely sharply defined blade ensures ideal cutting behaviour and surface qualities in soft non-ferrous metals.
         Innovative PVD coating technology
Conformal coating combined with cutting edge treatment ensures extended service life and sharp cuts.

High performance geometry for universal series users

The newly developed ORION universal geometry was developed specifically for the needs of demanding users in series production using
ever-changing materials. These users demand high flexibility, but also want high service life. The universal geometry can be used for ideal pro-
cessing of the material group steel, stainless steel, cast steel and special alloys. The program contains two universal cemented carbide grades.
HC7625 was developed in the primary application for processing steel, cast steel and stainless steel. HC7530 was developed for the main
application stainless steel, special alloys and steel. The user must decide between steel or stainless steel in the main application to achieve
the highest service life in the respective material. The wide range of chip breakers and geometries ensures a wide machining range from rough
machining to finishing internal and external surfaces. Modern and highly wear-resistant coatings ensure good wear performance and process
         stability.
