background. The following chart lists the number of people in each
of the major ethnic/racial classifications in the United States and the
percentage of that population that uses the Internet.

classification listed. Then determine the total number of people
in the U.S. population, the total number of Internet users in the
U.S. population, and the average percentage of the total popula-
tion using the Internet.
b. What are some possible reasons the usage rate of the Internet
varies, based on a person’s racial/ethnic classification?
27. Research Go online and find at least three examples of businesses
for each stage of e-commerce development: information, interac-
tion, and integration. If possible, print a copy of each company’s
home page. Using that home page, describe why the business fits
the stage in which you classified it.
