               cloud exit strategy   This is a contingency plan used if a cloud provider is

               no longer available or is the plan used to discontinue a relationship with a
               provider regardless of the underlying reason.


               cloud fabric      This  is  the  computing  infrastructure  used  for  a  public  or
               private cloud.


               comma-separated  value  (CSV)      CSV  is  a  standard  format  for  data
               exchange between dissimilar systems.


               community cloud   This is a multitenant computing environment delivering
               IT  services  to  organizations  that  have  similar  IT  computing  and  security

               needs.


               configuration item (CI)   A CI is an IT resource that is tracked in a CMDB.


               configuration management database (CMDB)   A CMDB is a repository
               of information about IT components related to IT processes, services, and
               the value they represent.


               content distribution network (CDN)   A CDN is a collection of servers

               that  are  used  to  provide  web  content  to  users  in  the  quickest  possible
               manner by placing that content near the user.


               data confidentiality   This means encrypting data so that only authorized
               parties are granted access.


               data integrity   This means ensuring that data has not been tampered with or
               damaged and that it comes from a trusted source.


               Extensible Markup Language (XML)   XML is a standard format that uses
               data descriptor tags to express data.



               hybrid cloud   This is a combination of private and public cloud services.


               HyperText  Transfer  Protocol  Secure  (HTTPS)      HTTPS  is  a  web
               protocol used between web browsers and web servers to securely transmit
               data.
