The Empire Dental Political Action Committee (EDPAC) is the bipartisan voice of thousands of
New York State dentists. It helps to elect candidates to state office who understand the
Importance of dentistry and dentistry’s unrelenting commitment to improving oral health
care in New York State. Over 90% of New York State Dental Association members make
voluntary contributions to EDPAC through their annual NYSDA dues. Many members also
donate additional funds, above and beyond the basic contribution, by participating in the
Capital Club, Honor Roll or Liberty Level. To contribute go to: https://www.nysdental.org/

Donations to EDPAC (as well as the national ADPAC) enable us to advocate for the dental
profession and the public it serves. The next two pages show some recent legislative
victories that were a direct result of members’ financial support of our lobbing efforts on the
local and national level as well as a list of pending Bills we are watching.
