             This course is open to Seniors who have already completed the Mental Health Careers Exploration 1 coursework
             and are interested in pursuing further career exploration within the mental health field.  In this course, students
             will expand on the subject matters covered in the Mental Health Careers Exploration 1 course, which includes
             topics  such  as:  empathy,  ethical  practices,  theories,  disorders,  interventions,  assessment  tools,  advocacy,  and
             non-profit organizations.   Additionally, there will be a focus on providing students with hands-on experience, as
             they will spend a portion of the course developing crucial skills in a mental health setting within our community
             that  most  interests  them.   This  may  include  things  such  as  job  shadowing  and  volunteering  in  a  variety  of
             capacities.   If you are interested in an immersive learning experience within the mental health field, this course
             may be a great fit for you.
