2.1.1 Modals of Certainty

Your classmate is throwing a birthday
party. However, you’re still not sure

whether you can attend the party or not

As human being, we do not have the
power to see the future. Thus, we

used this type of modals to show our
                                               degree of certainty

There are different levels of certainty. When you are sure about something, it
means you are certain of it. However, if you cannot decide, you are less certain of

it but, if you know something is impossible, it only means that you really uncertain
of something. Modals of certainty also have its positive and negative certainty.
